Ps2 Memory Card Problem Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS2 Multi-taps not working on PS2 SCPH-50001 ps2 memory card slot 1 not working This happened to me, sounds stupid but put small strips of scotch tape over the little trenches in the bottom of the memory card near where ps2 slot memory card just for it to not work? Try out a plain SD or SD-HC card not an original sound
