At one point, adidas Yeezy was flooding the market with 350 v2s, each only slightly different from past releases. But now, following a rather lengthy hiatus, the silhouette has seen stark changes, its new “MX Oat” colorway one of the first steps towards an entirely new direction.
Structurally, all of the usual features are intact. From the pull tab forward, the shoe is true-to-form, only further customized with the titular “MX” pattern. Entirely randomized, this graphic swirls throughout the Primeknit upper, splattering near everything with hits of pastel blue, yellow, and orange paint. Underneath, “Oat” sets a rather palatable ground that’s echoed in much more solid fashion at the tooling, lining, and side stripe.
